Our long-awaited kitchen is now OPEN and serving up some incredibly tasty street food in a casual setting. Burgers, hotdogs, fries and a multitude of vegan options to keep everyone happy! Our meat and veg is locally sourced from the Halifax Borough Market, providing a taste of Yorkshire in every bite.
DRINK
Here at Købe we pride ourselves on bringing the best beer possible to Halifax. We have 6 cask and 24 keg lines, alongside a wide range of wines, spirits and soft drinks. We are situated under the glass roof of the Westgate Arcade near the famous grade I listed building, the Piece Hall. So, weather you’re heading to a gig during Summer or exploring the Christmas Markets in December, make sure to pop in and say hi!

We have 6 cask lines serving a dynamic selection of hand-pulled ales – everything from 24 carat classics to the latest styles. There’s something for everyone, including a traditional bitter, a dark beer and a choice of pale ales.
Our keg taps host one of the widest ranges in the region. Home to everything from hazy hop-bombs, to smoothie sours, to imperial stouts, to the tried and tested European styles.
We have won a plethora of CAMRA awards, including regional pub of the season as well as being ‘Highly Commended’ in the regional pub of the year awards. We also received an award from the West Riding Branch of SPBW (The Society for The Preservation of Beers From The Wood). We were presented their 2025 Pub of The Year after hosting an annual meeting of theirs every March for the past few years.
