If you’d have said 5 years ago that a sour beer festival in Halifax was a good idea you’d have been scoffed at by most people. However, our Pucker Up festival has become the most looked forward beer event of the year here at Købe!
Every year we have totally overhauled our keg tap list to offer 22 different sour beers, as well as a handful of cask sours.
2025 was no different as the line up featured some of the usual suspects: Vault City, Yonder, Holy Goat and Pastore to name a few. We also had a heavier Belgian influence this time, with Rodenbach, Oud Beersel and Duchesse de Bourgogne finding their way on the menu.
We challenge ourselves to improve every year and adapt to the latest trends along with some classics that aren’t always found on draft. Keep your eyes peeled for the upcoming 2026 dates and get them in your calendar early!
